Some say Julius Caesar was the greatest thing that happened to Rome. Others say he was the worst thing to hit Rome.

In northern and central the Germans and the Celts lived there, and the Romans really didn't need to go there. But, Julius Caesar decided to anyway.

The Senate declared him enemy of the state, and he decided to take a course of action. He decided to take his troops across the Rubicon River, which was a big mistake! And that started the Civil War.

Then Caesar turned his forces toward the Asia Minor so swiftly he described it in 3 words, "Veni, Vidi, Vici.

So anyway, I was there when he came home from the battle and I kept hearing "Veni, Vidi, Vici," through out the crowd and some people sounded amused, some were disappointed and some were extremely happy. But the majority of people were happy so "Veni, Vidi, Vici".
