Momentum Track

Uses: Conservation of momentum and kinetic energy, elastic and inelastic collisions

This apparatus has all the functionality of the low friction track but tracks the motions of two carts.

The carts can be given an initial velocity by variable force launchers at each end. The launchers can be activated simultaneously or independently.

Carts with Velcro or spring bumpers allow for elastic and totally inelastic collisions.

Graphs are drawn and data is collected for both carts. Position, time data can be output for analysis in graphical analysis software
