Magnetic Induction

Uses: Magnetic induction, Lenz's Law, AC/DC circuits, amplitude modulation, magnetic fields due to permanent and electromagnets, transformers.

Magnets and coils move relative to a coil attached to a galvanometer or oscilloscope

Graphs of magnet position, voltage supply voltage, and coil Emf are produced.

Field lines can be shown.

Ex. By using a coil with an AC voltage source and moving it from side to side you get the effect of an AM signal.
