Chapter 14 Virtual Lab

Gas Laws - Gas in a cylinder with a moveable piston

Uses: Investigation of the interrelationships among volume, pressure, temperature and number of molecules in an ideal gas; thermodynamics of an ideal gas.

The number of molecules (n), volume (V), pressure (P), and temperature (T) can be set while holding some values constant.

Heat is added or removed as needed to produce various iso-processes.

The piston moves, particles change speed, etc.
