HONORS PHYSICS
About Our Honors Physics Course:
Honors Physics is a one-year or one-semester block independent study course for students with career plans in science, math, engineering, medicine, and similar fields. It provides a track for students who want to learn physics at a high level, but who are not interested in the full AP Physics B program. Honors Physics uses the same college textbook as the AP course, but features a shortened syllabus, as well as somewhat less demanding homework and tests. Instruction is provided on 14 CD-ROMs or 2 DVDs, with illustration of nearly every phenomenon studied.
This course will include a virtual lab beginning in the fall of 2008.
