Barring leaks and junctions, the current would be the same at all points. Otherwise some extra water would have to be entering or leaving the system.

For example, if the hose became narrower, the water would just move faster. If the cross-sectional area halved, the speed would double so as to allow the same volume to flow past each point each second.

If there were junctions or leaks (another type of junction) we would find a change in the current. More on that later.
