Spiced roast kid or lamb Pound pepper, rue, savory, onion, a little thyme, and liquamen. Moisten the joint with this and roast until tender in a shallow pan containg a little oil. When it is done pour over the following mixture; pounded savory, rue, one or two dates, liquamen, oil and wine. Cook gently until thickened. Turn into a dish, sprinkle with pepper and serve. |
