Latin II from KET is a one-year high school course designed to build upon the language skills learned in Latin I. Students will use a deductive process that incorporates the four language skills of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The grammatical concepts will be presented in such a way as to allow students to extrapolate from what they have already learned in order to move into previously unexplored grammar. In so doing, students will become familiar with aspects of the culture, myths, and history of the ancient Romans. They will acquire a strong foundation in Latin roots that will help them increase their English vocabularies.
