'Mythemon' Cards
Create Your Own Trading Cards

The Romans believed in many gods, each of whom had different powers. As you progress through the study of mythology, create your own trading cards of the gods that can be displayed in your Latin classroom and traded with your fellow students. Choose from the list below or select other gods that the Romans worshipped. Create an image of the god, incorporating his or her special symbols, by photocopying a picture, or printing an image from the Internet, or creating your own drawing or collage. The style can be 'classical,' modern, realistic, surrealistic, or comical. Your final design should be done on a 5x8 index card. Adapt the layout below or design your own layout, but include the details. And don't overlook the many fascinating 'lesser' deities!
