The primary source for this illustrated story of Hercules and the Labors of Hercules is the "Library" written by Apollodorus. Although he wrote centuries after the myths were first narrated (perhaps as late as the year 200), he seems to have drawn on very early accounts. The Latin translation is a product of Kentucky Educational Television.
