Latin I is available as a 179-day, two semester class OR a
block scheduled, one semester class, either first or second semester.
The lessons consist of 160 required, with additional lessons for students who have more
than 160 days in which to complete the course. Latin I will be taught in segments.
I will present the material (grammar,
translation, culture). The students will have class time to complete comprehensive
exercises which correspond to the presentation. These assignments may
be from the textbook, workbook, classroom supplementary books, or Internet
activities. Announcements will be posted on the web site, or sent
via the web-based message system.
