SCHOOL CONTACT RESPONSIBILITIES

It is essential that KET be able to contact the designated school contact throughout the year. As part of the responsibilities/requirements, the school contact must:

  • Make sure that the student has regularly scheduled access to an Internet computer, and to a telephone for the German classes.
  • Ensure that the student has the Required Instructional Materials before class begins. These include the textbooks and instructional materials mailed by KET to the school.
  • Proctor test taking.
  • Receive progress reports and grades from the teacher, as well as notify the teacher when reports are needed
  • Communicate with teacher by phone and through electronic mail.
  • Initiate contact with KET to resolve any disciplinary issues.

Some courses are more demanding of the school contact. If you have questions or concerns about the level of responsibility, please contact the individual course instructors. The phone number and e-mail address of each instructor is listed in the Course Description pages, or you may call KET at 800.333.9764.
