- If you've gotten this far, you know how to log on, access and print a WebWorks
sheet. Very good, especially for those of you who aren't crazy about computers!
NOW...from the Humanities front page, click on PAINTING GALLERY.
Click on the titles at left to see separate works.
- When was Leaping Bull painted?
- What was the technique used?
- Click on the accompanying website. What King is associated with the Palace at Knossos?
Note: each work has an accompanying website with more information.
- Return to the PAINTING GALLERY.
Select a work or an artist that you think is interesting and describe it in detail.
- Now go to the MUSIC GALLERY.
Name any work you find there: ___________________________
Are you able to listen to clips? IF not, you should install Real Player
free of charge by clicking on the real player button and following their directions.
- Go to the HUMANITIES front page and explore the site. Every area
on the front page may be accessed, but you may need a student/teacher password
for some. Go to the MAILBOX and write a note to one of the members
of the humanities staff. Let us know what you've seen on the site, tell us
a little about yourself, and check for a reply tomorrow. (You must have an
ID number to send and receive mail). Thanks for visiting the HUMANITIES page!
