A piece of art work that has affected my life would have to be a sculpture I saw at Brookgreen Gardens in South Carolina. It is of a man and his horse fighting against the wind. It showed me that in life there are challenges we have to overcome. T
his determination to succeed is still how I look at and go through life, so this piece is still one of my favorite sculptures.

Since I have been 6 years old I have been dancing. From dance lessons, to dance team, to even cheerleading, dancing has always been a big part of my life. I love to not only dance, but watch others dance. Dancing has become a big part of my life and
is a beautiful form of art. It has taught me to continue striving for my dreams and to always work hard!

Ever since I was a little girl, I've recieved little carved Santas from a man in my community. I've always loved them because they were simple and yet beautiful as well. I still love them and I always will.

Ever since I was young, I have always been fascinated with music from foreign cultures. All foreign languages, no matter what they are, were bewitching to me. Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese; any languages that weren’t English managed to catch my
attention in one way or another. It showed me that no matter how much I got wrapped up in my own culture, there were always others out there to be appreciated. My love for foreign music still affects me even to this day. Almost none of my friends ask to
listen to my iPod because it has next to no music from America. (Or if it does it’s Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin)

All my life I have had an admiration of music. Music is so soothing and beautiful. When you I am just so stressed out I can always listen to music to calm me down. The beautiful thing about music is that no two pieces are quite the same. Through musi
c I have learned a lot.

Ever since I was younger music has played an important part in my life. The most vivid memory I have of this is when my dad and I used to sing in the car to our favorite Disney Songs. We each would have our own part to sing. We still sing in the car
together, just not as much as we used to. When I was younger I found classical music to be very beautiful, I especially enjoyed Mozart. Even today I still enjoy classical music.

When I was young I always watched the kids show, Barney. I loved to watch it, I would watch it from the time i woke up until the time I went to bed if I could. I don't really remember why i started watching it, I guess a big purple dinosaur would dra
w any kid's attention! By watching those shows i learned how to do basic stuff like say my ABC's very early. I still find it interesting that TV shows like Barney can teach a child so much.

Silly as it sounds the only art that i can remember that has had a lasting impression on me is at the Children's Museum, the bubble. You would stand in the center of a circle, pull the string and the bubble would come up around you. I always wondered how the bubble didn't pop. When we went on trips to the museum that was the one thing that almost everyone ran to. I havent been since elem. school and i'm to old to go back but i will alwys remember it, it was so fun.
