" My picture is entirely digitally done. I started in Adobe Illustrator and did the outline of the face, then I imported the outline into Adobe Photoshop. In Photoshop I added different shades of green, but I also let some of the white background show through so it didn't get too dark. I added a shadow and a 'glow' to the edge of my outline to make it stand out more. On my various green layers I applied a number of filters, adding texture. Then I found a photograph of a fern leaf, I duplicated it, and adjusting the colors I blended it into the rest of the picture. I really like the texture and the colors in my picture, however, I would like to make my drawing more detailed but due to the limitations of the mouse that's very difficult."
