"My Green Face is made entirely of freshly collected leaves. I cut and manipulated them as little as possible, and I used a coat of sprayed- on enamel to protect it, but it naturally darkened and withered some after a day. I think it's pretty successful. It's interesting that a face with so much personality emerges simply from rearranging some leaves from the yard and garden. It speaks to the "aliveness" of the whole world. It was also a lot of fun."
