Travel Greece (and send your teacher the bill!) - This project gives students an opportunity to plan and price a trip to Athens or the Island of Santorini, sample contemporary Greek culture, convert currency, and send their teacher a fictional bill for this dream vacation.

Frommers is the primary link, and a score of secondary sites are provided. This is a good assignment to do in pairs--a real-world experience that will take some careful (but not difficult) journeying through the Internet.

Students may choose either location; however Santorini may take a few more steps in terms of finding prices and information.

We have test-driven this assignment to work out the bugs--all the links are reliable and the process is exciting-especially for those of us who love every aspect of travel!
