Christy uses this book because it includes:

• A replica of the famous gold Tutankhamen funeral mask ready to be made.
• Osiris, god of rebirth and immortality. There is a page where an alabaster cask opens to reveal the Book of the Dead.
• A replica of Tutankhamen's casket: your students will be able to remove the golden sarcophagi and unravel the cloth binding to discover the mummified pharaoh.

These designs can be reproduced and colored in the manner of the Egyptian painters or any way your student's imagination suggests. Some of the motifs include: tomb ceilings, murals, wood sculptures, vases, and papyrus paintings.
