___________________________ is enrolled in the multimedia, distance learning course German-from-KET offered through the facilities at our school. I am working with your son or daughter to help him or her achieve the goals and objectives of the course. Attached you will find a grade report form of his/her recent progress. As you will see, the final grade consists of six components: tests, oral evaluation, quizzes, essays, notebook questions, and the class participation grade. Each week, students enrolled in German receive video instruction and small group oral practice via telephone tutors. Students have access to the video teacher and the telephone tutors via the KET Distance Learning Web Site at <www.dl.ket.org>. Please encourage your child to use these opportunities to communicate any questions or concerns they might have. Learning a foreign language is a skill that requires daily practice. As you know, at the beginning of the course each student agreed to the following:
