Grade Report Options |
For specialized reporting needs, set the various options before clicking on
Generate Report. The options include:
- Date Range
- You can specify a date range for your report. Enter the first day and
last day you would like included. Use Day of Class numbers, not calendar dates.
This option is useful for generating reports that match your school's grading
period, or perhaps to examine trends in a student's performance.
- Category Filter
- The default is to show grades in all categories. You can select one
category, such as "Tests" or "Homework" to only see those grades.
- Include Descriptions
- Assignmnent descriptions list the due date, assignment code, title,
and points possible for each assignment. Clearing this checkbox will suppress
these descriptions.
- Include Raw Scores
- By default, every individual score is shown on the report. Clearing this
checkbox will suppress the display of individual scores in the report.
- Include Summaries
- To omit category subtotals and overall percentages, clear this checkbox.
- Student Selection
- To generate a report for only one student, choose one from this list.
This will cause a Single Student Report to be created.
After setting the options, click on the Generate Report button.
The resulting report will be custom made to match your criteria and will
reflect the most current grade information available. After viewing the
report on screen, you may print it by hitting the Print button on
your browser's toolbar, or selecting Print (or Print Frame) from the File menu.
It is very easy to produce several similar reports, such as a midterm grade
card for each student, or a separate report for each grade category. Set all
the options needed to generate the first such report. View or print the
resulting report, then use your browser's Back button to return to the Grade
Report Order Form. All your settings will be intact, and you can change a
setting (such as student name) and generate the next report.
