What is the Grading Program all about?

Overview

The grading program automates several functions. It all begins by entering information about each of your students into the Class Roster. This lets the teacher and staff at KET know who your students are and establishes a student ID, password, and grade book entries for the students.

Students will use their student ID's to access student-only areas, participate in graded, on-line activities, and review their own grades. Without an ID and password, they will not be able to realize the full potential of our classes.

Most graded activities will be traditional assignments, and you will need to enter the scores in the computer manually. This is one of the primary ways the teacher at KET monitors class progress and the achievements of individual students. Without this input, the teacher's ability to tailor the pace and content of the course is limited.

Using the grading program to generate Grade Reports will allow you to follow your students' success in the course. You can create reports that match your school's grading periods and use the reports as-is, or incorporate those grades in your own reporting forms.
